Welcome from the Chiefs

As the Chief Residents for the Triple Board Program at Indiana University School of Medicine we would like to welcome you to our website!  Indiana University is home to outstanding training programs in Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  We "Triple Boarders" have the exciting opportunity to train in all three areas.  Generating physicians to be boarded in three different programs requires significant flexibility and communication.  One of the great strengths of the IU Triple Board program is that the program directors work directly with the residents to accomplish their individual goals: whether they are working in Spanish-speaking only clinics, community outreach clinics, private practice, forensics, autism clinics, or doing international rotations (we’ve had residents go to Kenya, Honduras, and China!).  The program here at IU has exceeded our expectations in helping us get to the best training possible and move us forward on our career paths.

Please take a close look at our website to see all that our program has to offer.  You can meet our fellow residents, see what a typical training course might look like, and explore some of the attractions Indianapolis has to offer.  We look forward to meeting you and sharing our program and city with you.  Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you have about our program or Triple Board training in general.

Best wishes on your journey towards residency!
