| Personal Statement | My career in the Dept of Veterans’ Affairs now approaches 25 yrs. I find the clinical care of veterans to be very challenging and rewarding. The treatment refractory cases are my specialty in bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, and PTSD. I enjoy the variety of experiences I have as medical director for the VA’s community treatment team where I can bring more novel psychopharmacologic interventions to bear. Sharing my experience with IU residents and medical students is an important part of what I do at VA. | |
