|Personal Statement||I joined the faculty in 2002 and am the Medical Director of our acute care psychiatric unit at the Roudebush VA Medical Center. The primary focus of my clinical practice is the assessment and stabilization of veterans of all ages who suffer with psychotic disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and substance use disorders. I also clinically supervise a large variety of students and residents and make teaching another priority on a daily basis.|

|Current Academic Interests||Teaching: I supervise one to two general psychiatry residents. I also supervise 4-5 IU third year medical student and one Butler University Physician’s Assistant student.
Clinical: I am the Medical Director of the 15 bed acute care psychiatric unit at the VA Hospital.
