Samantha D. Outcalt, Ph.D.
I am a clinical health psychologist with a primary focus on chronic pain. My health services research at the Roudebush VA Medical Center concentrates on the intersection of chronic pain and posttraumatic stress disorder. Furthermore, I am committed to the dissemination and implementation of empirically supported psychological treatments for chronic pain, both with and without comorbid mental health conditions. Clinically, I have the honor of working with terminally ill veterans and their caregivers in Palliative Care at the VA.
