Research Programs

Department of Psychiatry faculty strive to lead the mission of understanding the symptoms and neurobiological basis of mental illness and the advancement of psychiatric treatments through extensive involvement and development of both basic and clinical research. Department of Psychiatry research programs currently include over 50 active grants and 20 clinical medication trials with total research funding of $18 million.
