Director's Welcome

Thank you for visiting the online home of the Indiana University Psychotic Disorders Program (IUPDP). The Psychotic Disorders Program focuses on education, research, and treatment that will lead to improvement in the lives of individuals affected by psychotic disorders.

Our program has two locations: the Psychotic Disorders Clinic and the Prevention and Recovery Center for Early Psychosis (PARC). Both sites offer educational opportunities to Indiana University School of Medicine residents and students as well as internship and work study employment for students from IUPUI.

IUPDP is currently conducting several research studies at both our locations. Our studies focus on treatment of psychosis and improving outcomes for individuals diagnosed with psychotic disorders. In addition to our research studies, PARC offers treatment and education for those newly diagnosed with a psychotic disorder and their families.

We hope you will use this website as a resource to find information about psychotic disorders and the treatments and research we provide. It is our goal to research, educate, adapt and improve our understanding of the way we care for those who live with severe mental illness. On this site, you will find information regarding our research, locations, staff, and resources.
