Referring to the PARC
As the only early psychosis clinic in Indiana, PARC specializes in treating individuals in the early stages of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. Clients must meet the following criteria:
- Between the ages of 16 and 30
- Must be a resident of Indiana
- Within three (3) years of experiencing the first psychotic symptom
- IQ must be 71 or greater
Referrals can be made by treatment providers, family, or individuals interested in receiving treatment. Staff at PARC will request information regarding current symptoms, onset of symptoms, medications, functioning, and previous or current treatment.

The research program at Larue D. Carter Memorial Hospital is dedicated to improving psychiatric treatment through the investigation of new and existing treatments for a variety of psychotic disorders. Inquiries regarding research studies at IUPDP can be made by individuals with an illness or their friends, family, and treatment providers.
